what car would u buy if u wanted to spend say 30 grand

u cud get a mazda 6 or a mazda 3 (new or at least near new)...or if u r feeling fully sick a skyline, suburu wrx etc r within ur grasp...i LOVE the new IS200/300 which r coming out soon(if not already out by now) but of course they will b more htan 30k...the only lexus' u cud get with 30k or less is a second hand one (ES300 etc)...

a second hand bmw 3 series or mayb even a 5 series is also a good option

u can get nething really it really just depends on ur taste (sports, SUV, luxury etc)

if i had 30k i wud personally go for a bmw, or a mazda 6 or perhaps a supra

i dunno if it would be within budget but a macked out black mazda 3 would be cool. there is one that i always see where i park.

like someone said, depends on your taste, i'd like to get something "top of the line" for a certain make, rather than spending for a great car:

mazda 3 + options + options rather than a basic bmw. i see when people do that mostly buy for the name.

volvo convertible exceeds the 30k limit, but its a nice car...
if i had <100k id get a lexus IS300 (the new one)
b/w 100 and 150k - bmw 5 series
150k-200k something like an S Class or a 7 series
ova 200 id look at the M5 or the BMW 645Ci--->i absolutely love this car


a lot of people drive some nice cars at uni...i saw a really hot porsche, a few benz, and numerous beemers...but like a more realistic option if u want a nice car is mazda 3 (as redruM said) or hte mazda 6, i parked next to one and it looked really nice...for 30 odd k as well...thats like 6k odd more than my car and its miles better than my car

hmm $30k could get me a 10 second commodore with the lot as well - something like a fully done up VL Turbo with interior, sound system, the lot with an RB26DETT head and twin turbos.

or a LS1 with a CAPA supercharger, and a heap of other things.
