I go to a top 10 school (usually top 5 but not this year) and I bombed my maths extension internals.
I got 25.5 and the median was 24 and mean was 23, and its weighted 15%. maths is meant to be one of my middle best subjects (ranked 8/150 overall in yr 11), can i even bounce back from this? My rank will probably be around 40 or something, maybe even lower if im unlucky. I want a 99.5 atar, should i lower my goal?

girl i would die for an 85% in a selective school. im assuming you go to baulko - please believe me when i say that this is an amazing mark, and you can definitely achieve 99+
literally same. Like the last time I got something like that was in year 10 and I don't even go selective. on the other hand, me now getting a 13/30 on a math adv graph transformations topic test 😭 .

bruh ur chilling. above median for a top 10 assuming its not one of those scam al faisal schools, then u should be pretty well set for a decent mark. I don't see how you'd really be limited in terms of atar. Look on hscninja. Note the amount of band 6s you guys get and then make a judgement
