"Discuss" essay questions and english (1 Viewer)

BOS definition: "Identify issues and provide points for and/or against"

How do we do that for essay questions?
E.g. If the question asks to e.g. "Discuss the how connections to place can impact one's sense of belonging" should we include how connections can improve AND worsen one's sense of belonging (in separate paragraphs) - i.e. Should we "discuss" both sides of the question

Tbh I don't even know if the BOS verbs matter much for essays. An essay is an essay.
