Im doing BBa/b arts psy right now
and i want to drop the b arts psy part
is it the same as transferring degrees and does my gpa count?

It will still count as far as i know, and yes it is like transferring degree, but easier, since you dont have to fulfill any requirements.

i don't think your gpa counts when you drop a degree

what happens if your gpa is lower than their requirment?

dont mind going through the transferring process but yeh the gpa does worry me coz its way below -____- now

Oh i read the question wrong, i thought you meant will the gpa from the combined still remain.

Yeah i dont think the GPA will count with dropping stuff. Sorry :)

im kinda in the same situation but i wanna change from psych to like... jap.. or something
do they take into account my gpa then? as instead of graduating with a bba/ba-psych degree i get bba/ba

im still not too sure cuz if i did jap id have to do an additional year...

Course transfer policy

Course Sought Transfer Policy Requirements

General Transfer between the following degree programs will be approved automatically upon application:

o BA and BADipEd; BSc and BScDipEd; BEc and BEcDipEd; BCom and BComDipEd;BBA and BBADipEd; BA-Psy and
o BA-PsyDipEd
o Combined LLB to the non LLB
o element of the combined LLB pro gram eg. BALLB to BA
o transfer, by 31 July in the first year of enrolment, from one course to another, if the student would have
o been accepted that year for enrolment in the latter and has been enrolled in first half year.
* BEc or BCom or BBA or BAppFin to BA or BADipEd/ BSc or BScDipEd/BEd(ECE)
o After completion of 18 credit points
o in BA to BSc or BScDipEd/ BEd (ECE)
* After completion of 18 credit points in BCompSc, BE in Telecommunications Engineering, BIT,

BTech(Telecommunications), BSc in Computing to BSc

If transferring to BA or BSc, please indicate Division

Double Degrees

eg. BAppFin and BCom – ActStud

• meeting the higher transfer criterion of the two individual degrees; if
Internal Transfer between Undergraduate Courses

already in one then the student must meet the criteria for the other.
BA/BA DipEd

• at least 12 credit points with an overall gpa of 2.0

B Ancient History (Hons)

• at least 18 credit points with a gpa of 3.0 including either

AHST205, or AHST207, or AHST241 or AHST260
BA or BSc in Geographic Information Systems

* at least 12 credit points with an overall gpa of 2.0

BSc BA in Museum Studies and Heritage

I went in today about transferring but little did i know about this stupid NEW bba Degree rule.

"If you are a BBA double degree student, do not use this form to transfer to the BBA or a different BBA double degree, or you might be required to take on additional subjects to complete your degree. You should follow the study pattern of the degree you wish to graduate with, and on your expectation to complete form advise the name of the degree you are expecting to graduate with at the beginning of your last semester. Should you have any queries regarding whether you syhould transfer or not, please see the academic adviser at teh department of business"

gay! anyways i couldnt find the adviser she wasnt around Coz student enquires mentioned it may just applied to the New first years and probably not second year (no ideaa)
