Personally I don't really mind since I have 12 units.
I'd definitely focus on english since it counts no matter what + 60% of DT HSC mark is from the major project anyway (albeit thats not really going so well either).
Sadly, it does take out some precious english revision time :/ but on the flip side, better to get it over and done with to focus on your other subjects.
