can someone please do this?? i know its easy, but yeh....:

d/dx [sin.x (1 - x)]

either im wrong or the books wrong (and i seriously hope its the latter)

d/dx[(1 - x)sin x] = sin x * (-1) + (1 - x)cos x = (1 - x)cos x - sin x

d/dx{sin[x(1 - x)]} = d/dx[sin(x - x<sup>2</sup>)] = cos(x - x<sup>2</sup>) * (1 - 2x) = (1 - 2x)cos[x(1 - x)]

Note sure which one you meant. :)

the latter....but i was right and the book wrong....

i was starting to hav a stress attack coz i have my half yearly in a few days and if i couldnt do a question like that, then i would have been doomed :( ... no worries now tho :D
