Employer presentations and guest lectures are a great way to get the "inside story" on prospective employers ... What does the company do? What does the organisational culture feel like? What is offered to employees? Who and how do they recruit?...

This is an absolute must for final-year students. Students part-way through their degrees are also welcome to attend.
hey everyone. im wondering if anyone is planning to go to any of these, they are mostly in the first and second weeks.

do many first year students go? or do you have to be super keen?

does anyone know from experience what they are like?

cheers

No not many first years but i don't see the harm of going, as long as you are allowed.

Its intended for people in their final years. for the next two months, final year student will attend career fairs, presentations and interviews in the hope of getting employment when they graduate or admission into graduate recruitment programs at prospective employers (e.g PWC, KPMG, govt agencies).
