For the pH part, we had 3 test tubes. One was the control, one had 3-4 drops of vinegar added to it, and one had 1/2 tsp of bicarb soda added to it.

We had 3 test tubes all in a water bath at 37 degrees. One was control, one was acid with a few drops of vinegar and one was alkaline with 1/4tsp of bicard added. The acid test tube coagulated super quickly (which was to be expected since rennin is found in the stomach). Alkaline had no reaction (for our test, anyway).
