For someone who isn't the greatest at English, what's an easy to understand text from Module C? (1 Viewer)

My prescribed texts are "That Crafty Feeling" and "What Time Is It Now, Where You Are?"

I need to choose one more text and I was wondering if anyone could recommend something. If you could provide some notes as well, that would be great.

You may wish to consider the "Poetry (p) or Performance Poetry (pp)" section of the Advanced Module C: The Craft of Writing prescriptions, specifically the poem "Father and Child" by Gwen Harwood. The poem seems rather simplistic in nature and analysing it also appears rather straightforward. It explores themes, ideas, issues and techniques that you are likely familiar with and may not feature the same complexity as "That Crafty Feeling" and "What Time Is It Now, Where You Are?", which are classified as nonfiction and prose fiction respectively.

I would suggest watching the following video exploring "Father and Child" from an HSC perspective as a starting point. This may assist you in determining whether you should choose this text:

I hope this helps! :D
