I was going to say something like Weakness' of the Weimar Republic such as the Great Depression, the Treaty of Versailles and the weakness of the left wing political parties led to the Nazi Parties rise up to 1934 as Hitler's succession as Fuhrer.

Those arent weaknesses of Weimar, they are separate factors. I'd say weaknesses relate to Article 48, proportional representation and maybe the lack of support from German society (not sure on this last one).

So a paragraph on Article 48, proportional representation, the signing of the treaty of versailles and if I talk about prussian militarism do you think I can support that by saying this contributed to the raise of Nazi power as they built up the military while Hitler was in power?

I'd set it out like this:

Introduction: Weakness in Weimar were responsible for the rise of Nazism to some extent, however, other factors were more important.
Para One: Discuss how the weaknesses of Weimar contributed to the rise of Nazism.
Para Two: Great Depression
Para Three: Lack of a Democratic tradition/Prussian militarism.
Conclusion

In paragraphs two and three, you must state why they are more significant than the contribution made by the weaknesses of Weimar.

2000 words is double what's recommended. I cant remember the source, but I'm pretty sure BoS recommends 1,000 words as standard for a HSC essay.

I have this so far (how on earth can I do this for an exam on Friday)

• Depression
o Hyperinflation: statistic –
o Quote: “Hyperinflation was a boom time for the asset rich, or those who could become asset rich.” Germany 1918-1939 page 18
o Weimars mishandling of the economy
o Needing American loans
o Nazis took advantage of the depression as they handed out gifts at Christmas to ensure vote increase
• Legacy/ terms of Treaty of Versailles: Government imposed by Allies
o Quote: Primary Source, “an acceptance of Germany's guilt in causing the war” Treaty of Versailles
o Quote: “The belief spread that the German army had not been defeated in the field but had been stabbed in the back at home” page 6

• Coaltion Government: Parliamentary model
o statistic: in the November 1932 election the Nazi party gained 196 seats, following with the SPD at 121 seats.
o Quote: Secondary Source

• Prussian militariam, Hindenberg: suspicion of civilian government: always undermining Weimar and thought they could use Hitler
o Quote: primary source
o Quote: Secondary Source

• Nationalist groups
• Weakness of left wing opposition and suspicion of the left and Socialists (due to what was going on in USSR as well)
o Quote: Primary Source
o Quote: Secondary Source
o Sparticus revolution Kapp putsch
o Nazi – beer hall putsch, hitler goes to jail (Mein Kampf)
o Comes out of jail to be a German hero
• Personal role of Hitler, public support of Nazism?
o Statistic?
o Quote: Primary Source
o Quote: Secondary Source

Make sure you are linking all this stuff back to the question. Why so many quotes/statistics?

Kind of - you need to ensure that it links back to the question and that you show the significance of Weimar weaknesses. Try having a look through my essay guide (a link is located in my sig).

So with Depression, treaty of versailles, coalition government, prussian militarism and nationalist groups if I identify
how they were weakness' to the Weimar Republic and then how the strengthened the Nazis is that more answering the question?

The focus needs to be more on the weaknesses of Weimar, that's why it is better to explain them first and select only one or two other points to counter it.
