Call me stupid but..

Which handbook are we supposed to look at?

I've always been doing units according to my 2006 handbook.. however, I looked at the 2008 handbook today and the units are slightly different..

As in, I'm doing a BBA/Psych..
The 08 says you dont have to do a comp/isys unit, but instead the hrm100lvl..
08 also drops ACCG253 as a "required" unit, and also BBA216..

If I dont have to do those it'll be fkn sweet.. but maybe it's only for 07 grads or something?

Thanks in adv.

From the year you started, so 2006. Otherwise some people wouldn't have degrees, since they don't exist anymore! :p

Hey Ciel...

I am on the 2006 structure too.

I think the easiest way to get around the differences is to seek an internal transfer to the 2008 rules.

That way you do all the subjects that need to be done under the 2008 schdule.

Hopefully it means I can avoid all the Accounting/Finance units

How would you do that?
I have no idea.

I dont know exactly but I reckon in 1st week of semester 1, you could go to Student Services and work out how to change it.

Like I read somewhere if you get an internal transfer, you transfer to the current rule schedules ie if you transfer now you go to 2008 schedule.

Im looking into it. I sorta wanna avoid ACST 101, ACCG 200, ACCG 253 when I really only wanna do HRM/MKTG subjects

I think the only one you'll get out of is accg253 if you're doing my degree.

The other two are cores.

I do BBA/LAW.

I just read in 2008 that you just need to ensure you do BBA 315, 350 and 360 plus 1x 100 level HRM, MKTG, DEM, BBA unit.

...and all the prerequisites leading up to those >100 level units.
