the diary isn't a very important aspect of the folio, it is there basically to record your thoughts so when it comes to writing your folio you can remeber what and when you did something.
a good way to start the folio is brainstorming and getting the key things done, remeber most of the folio can't happen until your actual project is done.

if you don't have the rochcliff(spelling) text book it would be a good idea to get it, because i found it made more sense than the excell it lays everything out

good luck and don't procrastinate :>

keep a regular record in your diary so that the markers can see that you have been constantly working on your mdp. yeah as the goddess chick said diary isnt important when it comes to the marking but you cant not have one! Your management is important though - make sure you do weekly time/action plans and also keep evaluating them regularly, because things dont always turn out the way you expect them to! And yeah everything you do goes in your folio, even your brainstorming and free hand sketches. But the important thing is to make it easy for the markers to read - and remember quality over quantity its better to have clear point form infos rather than big chunks of paragraphs of stuff yeah? noice.
