The following are websites/forums where professionals will provide help free of charge. The only thing it will cost is time for the helper and time for the user being helped.

I have been a member and helper on most of these forums under a different alias. I can confidently say that they are professional, mature and very friendly.

While registering on these sites, please remember to obey all rules that are applicable on the forum, be polite and follow instructions. Show respect for those helping you and be a fantastic ambassador for BoS and Australia.

For your convenience, I have separated these forums/websites into separate categories.

Free Software Support

Most software vendor's offer free support on their own forums or via a ticket system. Google your software's name or go to their official site to receive help. If all else fails ask in this forum!

Last but not least THIS FORUM for general questions ask them in here and you will generally find a member more than happy to give you a helping hand. Threads will be a resource for future members, or other people who stumble across it through the net.

Enjoy the never ending knowledge of the internet

Likewise. Its far from 'tertiary educated' as you make it seem. Its rather crap now-a-days actually.

True I had that for computer hope. I will fix it a tad later because I have some spelling/grammar mistakes as well.
