Ive got a creative writing assessment and i could use some help... It has to be between 300-500 words. We are given a cliche "The more things change, the more they stay the same" and we are supposed to incorporate that cliche into our story somehow... Any suggestions? HELP!!!

Start with an observation of the world around you - what do you notice? Now identify a specific constant, what never changes? Friendship? Love? Honour? To me, it will be something intangible like that. You've got the idea? Good. Now think about it - say for five minutes.

Ready? Now jot down some key points about that object/emotion/thought. Got that? Now start writing... it's only a page, so you should be alright. Don't restrict yourself to a narrative (i.e. story-type writing) - break free and do whatever.
Goodluck;)
