help with linear approximation (1 Viewer)

hi, i need help with linear approximatons.

use the differential dy to approximate (delt)y when x changes as indicated:

y = sqrt(3x-2); from x = 2 to x= 2.03


(when doing a problem, how do i know when to use the formula or solve for the
tanget line.)
