My school rank is around 140. I'm coming around 4/27 in the course (Maths ext 2).
We only had one assessment which I got 75/90 (83%). This is a raw mark. What is this likely to get scaled to (presuming I get similar marks throughout the year). I'm asking this cause I don't know too much on scaling.
Thanks in advanced.

Internal marks are calculated via ranking.

Aligning of raw marks I believe happens in externals.

The raw mark of your school assessment will not affect the actual exam mark or internal(assessment) mark you'll get, your in ternal rank would affect your assessment mark.

The exam mark is whatever you score in the exam and then aligned, which purely depends on your performance in the final exam.

For your internal mark, say you maintain your 4th rank at school , you'll get the 4th highest HSC exam mark in your school, regardless of what you get in the exam.

Your final HSC mark will be the average of exam and assessment marks. Hopefully this helps.

If you got 83% raw in the external exam, I would estimate that to go up to 95 or 96 for your exam mark. Depends on the school of course, though.
