i have a science test in a few weeks and i can’t remember any of the information i have to remember. what’s a way i can effectively get the info to stick into my brain? it’s not like a i don’t understand the concepts but i cant quite remember any of them.

Do practise questions. Maybe relevant past HSC questions, past papers, etc.

pretty sure @kkk579 is in year 9/10, based on past discussions and the fact she said 'science test' and not specifying chem, bio or physics

Practise questions still apply though; grab them from your textbook like the chapter review questions and stuff and work through them. If you're still struggling, it doesn't hurt to watch a few youtube videos on the concept that may help clear up any misunderstandings and make the content just click. And ask your teacher for any help/extra resources they may be willing to share :)

Yeah its good that u understand. Simply just brush up then as in keep revising ur notes, make flow charts of the ideas and theres some good ones like making silly names (for exmaple i memorised the order of em waves using the name Rabbits Mate In Very Unusual eXpensive Gardens --> RMIVUXG so try and see if u can find similar names probs will help.) More so just keep doing practice questions daily esp for phys and chem. textbooks are great and ask for past papers from ur teacher/school and try those questions and keep a bank of all ur mistakes from these to idenitfy and group any specific topics/ideas u have issues with and try to understand that better. Honestly if you understand something and cant rmb it then its just easy to revise

most effective way is probably summarising what u learnt

if u can remember an entire paragraph of info from just a few key words then ur good

do practice questions afterwards to see if key words in the questions trigger ur memory of the concepts

When I had to remember all information for exams in school and university - I search for audio or write it for audio memory. It helps - listening and remembering. Like a song.
