I did modern, I had about 3-4 pieces of histiography and probably like 2-3 statistics as well, but keep in mind your evidence for history isn't like English! Most of my evidences were just a few words or "As written by XXXX...".

Yep ^^ Bringing your own evidence into the hsc modern exam isn't necessary as they generally give you a piece of evidence for you to extract and implement into your response. HOWEVER, saying this, bringing your own relevant evidence can help you stand out from other students and possibly bonus marks
