how to reference diagrams (1 Viewer)

hi

i found a diagram in this book which i wanna use in my assignment. the thing is though, the book got this diagram from another source.

my question is, when referencing where i got the diagram, do i reference the book or do i reference the source where the book got the diagram from? :confused:

Something like that (APA style), I'd say you're referencing the original article and telling people that its in whatever book it was from, unless you can find the original.
