Hi I am now nearly starting prelims and I have lots of questions.

1. If my peers get very high averages, can that possibly increase my atar?
2. Is it best that I start travelling to Sydney for face-to-face classes? (I live in Orange NSW)
3. Is maths focus any good? My future teacher informed me that we are changing textbooks to maths focus from,m Cambridge, but I saw lots of negative reviews on the thing.
4. How do I stay motivated?
5. Is it ok that I use notability for my notes? (i.e: digital notes using pen)
6. Is it possible that I may lose the possibility of getting into uni using the rural entry scheme to UNSW if I moved to Sydney to finish HSC

Hi thanks for your reply.
just a quick question on Q6, It states on UNSW RES that
'To apply via the RSES applicants must have lived in a defined Australian rural area, RRMA 3-7 for at least
five consecutive or ten cumulative years since the age of 5.' I have lived in Dubbo for 9 years, and In Orange, by Jan/Feb I'll reach a decade, so does that still completely wipe my record even despite being in this area for so long?

Nevermind, I stand corrected, I guess you will still be eligible. However, I still wouldnโ€™t recommend moving to Sydney just for school as the schools in orange are perfectly fine.
Duly noted. Thanks for your help.
