in a comm/law degree (normal one) is it possible to do a full semester of only commerce units or is that against the rules?

I do a Bus/Law degree at UTS and my first semester was all business subjects (I was following the course handbook) so I'm assuming you're allowed to unless the University has put up restrictions, which they probably would've noted online in the course outline.
