What UAI roughly do you need to get into IT or CS at UNSW, UTS or any uni in Sydney?

And how are you guys finding it? Worth doing? Got jobs ?

USYD:

IT - 97.65
Computer Science and Technology (Advanced) - 96.40
Computer Science and Technology - 80.00
Software Engineering - 86.80
Computer Engineering - 85.95
Science (Computer Science) - 81.40

UTS:

IT - No UAI, need to apply through Co-op Scholarship
Software Engineering - 91.00
Computer Sys Engineering - 82.50
Science IT Diploma IT Prof. Prac. - 83.00

UNSW:

IT - Co-op also i think?
Science (Computer Science) - 81.00
Software Engineering - 90.00
Computer Engineering - 85.00

The cutoffs at UWS were pretty low if you're worried about cutoffs. But if you're doing ur hsc, dont worry too much about it.

You can also submit a portfolio for consideration for the B. IT at USyd (probably the most prestigious computer degree in the country), based on previous programming experience if you don't make the cut-off.
