That's correct. It means you were accepted into campbelltown which is also a Law Campus. Good choice of majors too!

They run 4 hour seminars for law subjects. Hopefully we are in the same seminar. My friendship at uni started from this site and it grew to this amazingly large network!

can i ask with hecs do we pay both band 2 and band 3 as it is a combined course or is it just band 3??
HECS is calculated by the subjects you do. So depending on what subjects you do, some will be band 3 and some will be band 2.

As Cape said quite correctly, it depends on the unit. As you are Business/Law student, your programme this year will consist of:

1.Business Unit - Band 2 Fee
2.Business Uni - Band 2 Fee
3.Law Unit - Band 3 Fee
4.Law Unit - Band 3 Fee

(An advantage of being soc sci student is I have 2 band 1s and 2 band 3s)

http://www.uws.edu.au/students/orientation2005/undergraduate

and near the bottom of the page they have the course information sessions for each campus i was wandering because i want to major in Human resources and industrial relations does that mean i have to attend the orientation session for this one as well as the law one or just the law one?

Don't know the answer to that question. You could, but from my knowledge, many LLB/SoSc students didn't go to the SoSc orientation, hence thats why they didn't know much about their programme. TO be on the safe side, go to them both or take on the advice from the coordinators.

9am to 5pm is 8 hours, the enrolling process only takes 2 hours tops. What I think they may do is delegate times, e.g. Business/Law students at this time and in the arvo Arts students, etc... Something like that.

What electives are you people doing for the whole course? - [edit]

For economics - Asian Economies, Development Economics and International Trade Theory and Policies.

For law - I haven't really decided yet.

By electives, do you mean your units for semester 1? Generally you are required at Parramatta to start with Torts and Introduction to Law. However you will be able to choose 8 electives in the LLB programme within law. I am keen on areas such as Family Law, Intellectual Property, Trade Practices and Advocacy.
