9 d (?)

Ones with (?) are ones I was unsure about, correct the others if they're wrong as well.

Well i got msot of mine exactly liek yours but for question 3 i said D, mainly because divergent oceanic oceanic is a Mid Ocean Ridge, and technically..you cant really say its a volcano... so i went for D. Probably is wrong, considering everyone wrote C.
For question 2 i did D..i was confident about it before but now, not to much....
Question 5 said 'collision boundaries' which got me thinking Convergent boundaries. Its definatly not B and C. My teacher said it was either A or D, but he'd never heard of tectometers, but i found tectometeres mentioned on Google, and i put D...creepmeters? weird.

Quiet volcanos can be formed at divergent boundaries

Okay, by the averages of this threads responses, of which there are 6, the answers are:

1. C 6/6
2. B 4/6, but the other 2 disagree, so almost certain
3. C 5/6
4. D 6/6
5. A 6/6
6. B 6/6
7. C 6/6
8. B 6/6
9. A 5/6
10. D 6/6
11. C 5/6
12. A 6/6
13. B 6/6

14. There are 2 a's, 2 b's and 1 c for this question. Ooh... Controversy. I put A, but I'm honestly not sure. We need someone who knows the syllabus well to answer this. Can someone be bothered to flip through a textbook and find a quote that proves it either way, now that we've finished?

On the one hand, I can see how there's elements of truth in B. On the other, I vaguely remember that recharge has something to do with, salinity on hills, and trees would be good for this?

I think, just anyone who knows what recharge is could answer this. Help please.

15. D 6/6
i dont have a copy of the paper, so not sure bout letter.... but it was definitely the reducing recharge answer, as the trees were planted on a hill above the crops, their roots would not penetrate deep enough to lower the water table,,, however they could reduce the amount of water entering the water table (recharge) and thus the problem with salinity
