Hey if anyone has their paper, wat did u get for multiple choice questions 4, 5, 7 and 14? They kinda stumped me, I worked the answers out but wasn't sure if they were right

I don't wanna know what I go in the first 2 sections, so i didn't keep my exam. hahaha

Guessed atleast 15 marks in the first 2 parts.

Q 4 and 5

for question 4 I put b)Photo 2
and for question 5 I put a) AR 2944 (because of the hill)
Anyone know the correct answers?

thats what I put as well, but like I dun get how you're sposed to tell with photographs what the smaller scale is

I had the same, except for question 4 I had B, and for question 12 I had D

I thought because photo 2 shows more of the landscape, a wider view, it is actually smaller scale (the opposite of what you would think automatically). But I have no idea really.

yeah thats what I thought, I always get them mixed up though, stupid scales >: /

Yep, Photo 2 had the smaller scale
but yeah i know i got 1 wrong already, Q14, stupid mistake, It wanted specifically the direction in the Area reference, and not the overall direction flow of the whole river

the small photo, the scale would have been 1 : 1000 (1cm=1m)
the photo with the rock and the huge valley would have been 1 : 100 000

which do you think is the "smaller scale"?

in other news, i completely rooted the exam :(

Well I can assure you that Photo 2 had the smallest scale, My teacher went through it with us at the end and said it was definately Photo 2.
I quote from my Geography skills book:
"Large-scale Maps show a small area of land"
Hence a small scale map would show a large area of land!
