The syllabus says that: "This module requires students to explore various representations of events, personalities or situations..."

What does the stuff in bold exactly mean? If it helps my prescribed text is 'Frontline'

In Frontline events could just be news stories, or the personalities of Journalists, or situations like "The Siege".

Not explained very well, but the point is that through these things the composers are trying to convey a Truth. In Frontline the satire. Rob Sitch Et Al satirize Australian current affairs shows though the representation of the events, personalities and and/or situations that "Frontline" the program face, the responder's opinion of "telling the truth" could be challenged - and we as students examine this by "exploring the processes by which things come to be accepted as true, question who has the authority to tell the truth and examine the ways....'(as it goes on)

At least, this is how I understand the module.
