Number of pages dont really give any insight because everyones handwriting is different sizes. How many words do you reckon you wrote for the essay and the creative writing? I'm just trying to get an idea cos i write about 1200 to 1300 in the 40 minutes and im just wondering whether i need to shorten my prepared stuff for the modules cos im thinking with an extra extended reponse im not going to have enough time.

and you find you can do that within the 40 minutes and not just take less time for the other sections?

I could potentially write about 1200 words in 40 minutes but my essays are on average 900 words; the 25% reduction allows time for me to answer the question and puts less pressure on the whole exam. :)

yeah but rivet in 900 words do you actually find you can write enough? like im trying to reduce my essays but i just cant find anything to cut. i need to aswell because i can write 1300 words in an essay but as you said you need time to be able to adapt it and answer the question, especially if its in a different form.
