can i install and reinstall (unlimited times) an oem windows vista home basic onto a comp with the same hardware?

can i install an oem windows vista home basic onto a comp and then change a piece of hardware (e.g hard disk) and reinstall oem windows providing i wipe the original copy on the other hard disk?

I'm pretty sure its as long as it's installed on only one computer at a time.

The oem license is tied to the motherboard, you can change drives, expansion cards around it and keep your license. In regards to reinstalling the oem should come with a recovery type disc that will allow you to reinstall all you like.

Also keep in mind most stores wont sell you oem without a major hardware purchase.
