Sorry if this has been asked before, but can anyone tell me what exactly is on the letter we receive regarding our HSC marks? (December 18th)

Do we get aligned marks, percentile bands, moderated assessment tasks, what?

You receive a summary sheet, a couple of days after you can access them on the web. And then about a month or so later, you get the certificate, bands, results for each individual subject.

What summary sheet? show me please? Is it the one with your HSC mark lying on the state distribution?

HSC Summary sheet, is just a list of your subjects and your Assessment (already moderated) and Exam marks. Its basically what you get online, expect printed.

The distribution and other stuff comes much later.

Does it tell you your state and school percentile?

No, it tells neither.

Dont you also get sheets which shows where you are compared to the rest of the state, like "you are here" etc on a graph of the whole of NSW performance for each exam?

Yes... but as flyin' send, you don't receive them until sometime in January.
