And for those that have done it. Was it hard?
it was pretty hard man- not prohibitively hard- but if u haven't studied u'll find it difficult!

yeah, its just like what xiao said- tricky.
and wif the lab skills test- just do the sample test and u should go fine (since its an open book test!!)

anyways- if ur gonna have the same test for the progressive test, then here is what was in ours:

we had a question similiar to that example the lecture showed us- in where u put the tennis ball on top of the basketball and u bounce them together- and u get the tennis ball to go very high...yeah, just look ova how they did the working out for that.

also in the same question- two objects collide into each other in an elastic collision- and u had to work out da velocity and stuff.

and lastly there was this question abt. the tension in a rope when u hang a weight on it....so yeah, thats just a brief guide if ur having the same test as us. :D

Ahh yes, the tension in a rope with a mass. If it's on a rotating wheel, the tension isn't mg.
that reminds me- there is this rotational motion question:

well its like this circular disk (like a coin) is rotating horizontally
and then u drop a piece of gum at distance r from the centre of da disk and then u gotta say how the motion is affected when u drop the piece of gum.

Wtf?

That doesn't even make sense.

Are you saying the angular momentum of the disk is horizontal? Or the disk itself is horizontal?

And then when they mark me wrong, I'm giving them crap because my head DOES have a mass of 20kg (when you include ego and whatnot).
