hey
i still havent properly learnt how to answer an EVALUATE question. could someone tell me the difference between assess and evaluate and how to structure and evaluate questions PLEASE?

With evaluate you have to write about cause and effect.
I'm not too sure about assess, but I'm pretty sure you have to talk about it, and then make an assessment as to whether it is/has been/will be effective.

Just go to the csu website, they have the glossary of terms.

Evaluation and Assess are similar. Assess means make a judgement or critique based on the events and what's given to you. So simply, make a judgement whether it may be effective, ineffective, good or bad etc. In contrast, Evaluation is an extension off assess whereby you still make the judgement but you base your judgement off a selected criteria. (Often and not you can get away with just assessing during an evaluating question).
