How much do you pay for a class? It's $25 a week here for 8 weeks (and then you can go up a level etc.). Just wondering what's normal. I'm thinking about doing it when I have a bit more money to splurge.

Awesome :) Well i'm considering going to either Suzie Q's or Bobbi's. I'm not really sure what the difference is. Suzie Q may be a little cheaper but my friends are at Bobbi's so I will end up doing the second stage up from that at Bobbi's second term (hopefully).

Where are you at?

From what i've looked at, $25 is actually a decent price. Ours are a little more then that i think so you're getting a good deal =)

mmm I'd love to do this for the core tension and upper body strength.

Might put it on the holiday to do list.

I've checked out the prices in sydney and they're about $25-$30 here so probably the same as in newcastle =)

yeah, they've done a few shows at the boxing and other stuff like that
the chick that owns it used to be a powerlifter.
and she found starting poledancing harder...

anyway, heres a list of good places http://www.xpole.com.au/links.htm

I went down to my first class this week. turned out to be EXCELLENT!! it was really fun and the atmosphere wasn't judgemental at all. I think a lot of the girls felt really akward and uncomfortable so i think it made us feel at ease even more hehe.

I did the conditioning/flex class and that was INTENSE! i haven't worked out in a long time so it really caught up with me but it was still heaps of fun :)

Am thinking of going down tomorrow to play around on the poles during free time ^^

pole dancing has got to be one of the most unnattractive things ever.

at least you girls are doing it for the workout and nothing else -_-

I think it can look quite feminine and yeah it's a very good work out.

I was suprised though. I'm probably one of the most unfit people you would ever meet but I did not find that i was working too hard xD The strength and flexibility class i took afterwards was a COMPLETE killer though.

I guess they start us slow thankfully
