To know the exact number of your post and the exact address of it is only possible when it is a new post. I was wondering if there was any other way of obtaining the address for a post.

See, someone can send the address of a post to you when it's a new post because it will appear in the address bar as http://www.boredofstudies.org etc etc #postnumber... but I don't know of any other way of getting it?

Is there? Is there not? Could it be enabled?

And then copy and paste that number into:

http://www.boredofstudies.org/community/showthread.php?s=&postid=[number]#post[numbers]
?

Or click on that person's profile. Click on "Search for all posts by this user". It will take you to the results of all their posts in post form so you can copy the link from there, Much easier.

But I'm pretty sure there is an easier way....somehow..
