primary industries isnt animal studies! Its a course where you are engaged in the practical side of agriculture, your outside learning how to erect+repair fences, drive tractors properly and the main component of the Yr12 course is the chemical course, where the person gains a cert 3 in chemical usage, animal husbandry is actually a very small component of the course.

Honey, I did Primary Industries.
One side of it is called Animal Studies.
i.e - Primary Industries Animal Studies.
There;s about 5 different courses within the main title, and b/c of that stupid title, ppl who do animal studies fail the hsc exam b/c certain classes were never taught f*ckin chemical studies etc...(if I wanted to do an exam on chemicals, I would have taken the chemical studies course goddamn it!!!!!!!!)

Primary industries is a great course. It gets u outtta the cruddy classroom doin things that u can do physically, have fun, get certified and now with a new chemical licence coming in u are automatically licenced when u complete the course. The best part is gettin out of the classroom. The chemical side isn't really that hard and the best part: the HSC exam is optional. According to the syllabus u don't have to do the exam to complete the course!!

Yea i do ag, primary ind, earth and environmental and biology and they all overlap so much i've probably cut 20% of total revision i will have to do for the hsc cause it is all the same stuff!!
