hey everyone!
i was just wondering how exactly they calculate your marks for this subject?
is it like other school subjects where your assessments and hsc mark are combined to calculate your UAI?

or

is it all based on the final exam? like in the accounting vet course?

i ask because we hardly do any assessments, all in total just 1 this year which was on the 'commercial packages' topic!

I believe it is all based on your HSC exam.

it based upon the hsc exam...

your school will submit your trial mark, but that is only used if some misadventure occurs and you can't sit the exam.

we've had heaps of assessments/projects.. like 1 every term... speaking of which... i better start the next one sometime...

we have had a half yearly and some shoddy assessment.
I might have to misadventure myself cause I came top on both prior assessments.

Our school had extra assessments (ontop of the trial), manly girl said that...

Hey Everyone...

I see that many of the same people reply to each messgae...The answer to your question is that come the end of the year they total up your assessment marks for the year and send an estimation to the board of studies in case of misadventure. Otherwise our assessment marks count for very little...it all relies on our final exam unfortunately. Although I have heard that 30% of our year 11 marks contributes to our end result.

Seeya around all...

It's hard enough to get us to put in effort for any assesment task/exam aside from the final exam, consider what it would take to get the people in Year 11 to do something.

well it does count yr 11 work does
count to our HSC assesment
i do ITS
this is one of the courses i know that doesnt have a real preliminary year
all the tests will be counted to our assessments
all my teachers said so
and i believe so too
since this is certificate two course taken directly from TAFE but split into two yrs
its obvious that yr 11 assessment marks are counted as well..

Eh? teachers may assess competencies thorugh assessment tasks and tests but thats only for like eligibility to get CertII.
Theres HSC requirements, but other than everything is lumped into the HSC....... which in some aspects sucks

I did the ITVET course last year in an accelerated course thingmy and there was no assessment mark on the papers that you get from the board or when I checked my mark online. It's all based on your HSC exam (which was how I managed to do as well as i did lol)
