How do I reference something that is quoted within an article?

For example, the Australian newspaper publishes an article by John Smith who quotes David Baker in his article. So say this line was in the article: David Baker states that "skies are blue".
How would I reference that? (in text referencing that is)

Cheers!

Depends on what referencing style you're using, grow some initiative and look it up.

Generally you'd do something like: Baker said xyz (cited in Smith)
