Am I automatically in some of them based on the program I'm in? I'm doing a B Engineering/ B Arts degree, so is there some engineering club I'm in by default?

Also, I really want to get involved in the clubs, but I heard someone say you don't need an access card. I was going to get one on Friday and join some of the clubs. So is an access card required?

Yes you need an access card. NO you are not automatically in them. You need to sign up

With the education and the law society, you're a member by default since you're enrolled in the faculty. Not sure about Engineering or Arts though.
