Not sure where to put this ... But

How do people manage to regurgitate so much information ?

I can read something 1000x and still be able to remember it, yet some can read it 10x and then be able to remember it.

Try recalling what you just read after the first/second read. I did this and saw improvements in memory and it's much more efficient than just reading something over and over again. One (roughly) 5-minute test can strengthen those memories to a great extent

Also, focus can be a factor. Try to focus as much as your can while reading

Another tip is to visualize. As you read, create images in your mind - this can be done with any topic, just be creative! So for example, if you are trying to remember each bone and muscle associated with the leg, you would construct a picture of a leg and add muscle groups and bones onto that picture ->best memory tecnhique imo

memorisation depends on how you learn best.

some people learn best by reading information, others by writing it out (this works for most people), some people like to make mind maps linking details together, some people like to record themselves reading passages and play it back, some people like to say it out loud over and over again.

reading doesn't work for many people lol

write the bitch out and recite the info you learned to someone. teaching someone something is a good way to retain informatino.

Heroic is absolutely on the dot here, self testing is the key element in rapid learning. Likewise, focus and visualisation are very powerful tools in aiding retention.

Maybe consider whether you're a visual, aural or kinetic learner or a mix of each then go from there C:

Understanding the logical flow of the information helps as well because all you need to do is then remember the foundations of the information and then build on that using logical constructs.
