I'm a bit short on time to prepare for trials, how risky would it be to not study for the issues? Looking at the past papers, at least 1 of the 2 questions doesn't require them? Thanks

Are you talking about contemporary issues?

I'd reckon it's safer not to study for the nature of family law since questions regarding that topic don't come up too often (if at all) while contemporary issues are points that you can weave into a lot of questions.
