I don't remember mine but I had 4 As, 4 Bs, 4 Cs and 3 Ds. I do remember starting with c, c, b though. I'm pretty sure it was the same as you. And no I can't be bothered getting my sheet out of my bag and working through them again. :p

Believe 5 is a) as Earth is at rest therefore = To, 15 is b) as doping with group 3 creates hole, which makes e- move in valance B as each successive hole is filled... that crap about holes being charge carriers & 8 is d) but second guessing 8

Yeah, got that too because it's where potential difference is at a maximum which means that current has to be at a minimum.

RE: Challenging my answers :p: I wasn't sure about 15 so you may be right, I don't know about 5 - I thought C. The earth is the stationary observer, but I didn't really understand it.. For 8. I imagined the metal strip was just a coil of wire :-/, therefore max induced EMF at position X.

I'd be happy with 12/15 assuming they were all wrong, but one above must be right, lol.

A lot of people get 15 D) and I know for a fact 4 isn't D because the independent variable is height not time (Notice he measures time as a result of adjusting height)

Yeah, 4 is defiantly a or b.

And there is acceleration towards the ground. So as height increases, time increases at a decreasing rate.

ye 15 has to be b,, bcoz it is a silicon doped iwht a boron that is it is a ptype semiconductor. and so there are holes. if we apply a potential as shown the valence electrons move to the left....(only valence electrons move in a ptype semiconductor, there are no conduction band electrons)...and can someone explain question 5 to me, bcoz i got c. the earth is stationary yes, but the time 0.5 seconds is the itme the clcok takes to tick on the spacecraft. so that shoudl be the shorter time,, the answer should be dilated that is a number greater than 0.5 so i calculated and got 0.63???????

lol i had 4d aswel but the thing is i looked at it now adn realized that for that graph time is on the x axis adn hegith is on the ya xis ,,,in this experiment only height is the independant variable taht is it should bo n the x axis. so its either a orb ,, im guessing its b bcoz of the straight line of best fit

I couldn't get the answert for q11, got two different answers (using theta= 40 or 50 degrees), but neither were on the multiple choice.

Just put the one closest to the answers, D, which seems right judging by this thread :D

It was D, but you didn't use trig. mv^2/r=qvB and solve for R.
