Just wondering..

Those who will be listed on SMH as distinguish achievers r those with raw marks of 90% or scaled mark of 90%??? Which one?

Thank you....

HSC mark is correct. SMH also publish the top people in a course, depending on how many people do the subject. :)

So the one with HSC marks and internal assessment marks sum together, isn't it?

Then, I heard that the scaling process goes like this:
For example if A is rank one in Maths and she scored 90% in internal assessment mark but placed second of 80% on HSC and B is rank two in Maths, 80% in internal assessment mark but topping HSC on his school by 85% ...

Then the score of A will be 80% (of her HSC mark)+85%(of the rank 1's HSC marks) averaged and the score of B will be 85% (of his HSC mark)+80% (of rank 2's HSC marks) averaged...is that true? Thanks for the info...

I might for general maths, but because the subject is so easy, they'll probably only publish those who get 99+ :p
