So, why does the syllabus for chemistry say (2 Viewers)

Identify the dynamic nature of ion movement in a saturated dissoloution
Describe dissolutions which release heat as exothermic and give examples.


Cant they just say solutions instead of dissolutions?
Isnt dissolution the rate of dissolving of a solvent?

Dissolution is the process of the ions separating. It can be referred to as 'solvation' but not as 'solution'. Solution means the mixture of the ions/whatever else and the water/whatever else.

Also in class we were doing this bond energy in chemical equation thing. Like the amount of energy required to break the bonds on both sides, I cant see that in the syllabus

Also heat of solution and heat of neutrilisation I cannot see in the syllabus, does that mean they cant be examined in year 11?
