and

I'm only in Year 11 (or HSC 2005), but our Legal teacher brought the paper in and he said that you'd get two marks for just saying "common law" and "statute law"... but he said it wouldn't hurt to quote the case and legislation they put in the passage.

i didnt write 'statute law' i wrote 'legislation' :S would they not give me a mark for that since the act IS legislation...

Yeah I reckon you'd get a mark for saying legislation seeing as that's what it is.

I wrote common law and statue law and put the names of the case and legislation just to be safe.
