Can someone please give me a short answer to each of these two straight forward questions:
1. What aspect of the Spartan war machine was seriously deficient?
2. Sparta's second victory over Athens occured when and where?
I feel lazy.

for the deficient, going of the top of my head, i would say the fact that they had no walls means the troops disliked being away from home very long, and sparta couldnt make full use of her strength, as she had to protect her major city. Also there was like 7 helots to every spartan, the helots being their slaves made to work the land, so they were in constant danger of rebellions by them. I know that wasnt a very good annswer, but it could be something along those lines. Could also mention they were restricted by religous festvals many time during the year, meanging they couldnt march and as a result missed important battles.
Second one just look up wars, i duno the date.
