This is a point in the syllabus which I have no information on, and haven't been able to find anything on. Does anybody know anything about Sparta's relationship with the Delphi?

They were absolutely obsessed with the Delphi. Sparta = ultra-religious, so I imagine they consulted her before every major battle.

Apparently Lycurgus wrote the Rhetra after a meeting with the Delphic Oracle...
