I am on holiday in lebanon at the moment, and i was going to back on the 18th so i could enrol on the 21st. However i dont know if u have heard, but there was a massive car bomb in beirut.. the whole city is closed down for 3 days of mourning, for rafik hariri(former prime minister).. seeing i was out today to change my ticket and this happend..

now im kind of in a jam.. as even if i got the flight on the 18th(friday) it doesnt arrive till the 20th.. and if i have to wait for hte next flight.. i miss it.. so my question is.. would UWS allow me some leway or something i am tryin my best to come back intime for late enrollment.. but say i couldnt.. what are my options? anyone please??

Is there anyway that you can contact uws? I dunno if you can get someone to enrol for you, but, if they aren't in a bad mood and you explain your situation, they might let someone enrol for you or wait until you get back.

yes i am able to call... to whom would i call? There is the general enquiries number and there is a staff directory... but callin from here is expensive :S SO i reallly cant afford to be put on hold for a long time...

allow someone on your behalf to enrol for you, send some sort of letter back saying you acknoledge that someone is allowed to do things on your behalf.

i am also callin dubai to try and get my flight changed from there.. Hopefuly everything will work out.. i will post watever happens!

Guys rule about UWS Tut Reg, there is NO alternative to online registration. I have asked, and its only by the web. See if someone can do it for you or somehow convince the university.
