Terry Tao (2006 Field's medallist) will be giving a special lecture on Feb. 7 which I think serious teachers and students of mathematics would be interested in attending.

Nice guy; told me Tao Jr. also loves maths! It was good to finally see Tao, along with the opportunity to catch up with some of my maths friends and faculty lecturers three weeks out from Semester One.

fuck yes i was there

it was fucking awesome guys

he went thru some basic stuff on primes, then built it up nicely

explained some pretty complex topics well!

im in awe of prof terry tao
