Hello,
I want to be a high school English and History teacher. I'd like to teach both ancient and modern. All the courses I've looked at offer one but not the other for the dip ed. Can you do arts with three majors and use all of these in a dip ed? I can't find info anywhere. Thanks. :)

Im not too sure about other uni's, but at ACU a major in history has both modern and ancient units, you get plenty of coverage so you can become an accredited teacher in both area's as well as English. Hope this helps. Research all the uni's and have a look at what each Dip.Ed or B. Teaching offers. If your looking to go ACU inbox me :)

Dip. Ed. isn't a thing anymore, you need a M. Teaching.

Oh, and also, you can just do BA(English & History) and take ancient and modern units for your history degree, and then do a Masters of Teaching.
