MX2 exam looked great - pretty easy. Thanks to Terry Lee for doing this another year round.

depending on how strict the markers are:

strict marking: 72/120

soft happy marking: 80/120

what do you mean..
The solutions in the current link is an updated version of the one he uploaded yesterday which contained a few major errors (possibly in response to the identification of such errors in this thread)

anyone knows anything about the E4 cutoff from recent years? i heard the 2009's was very low, my bro only finished 4 questions with a bit of 5 and 6 yet he still manage to scrap an E4 with mark of 91%

If he scored full marks for the first 4 Qs & about 16/30 for Qs 5 & 6 that would have translated (roughly) to a 90.8 or a 91 reported. I've found 3U & 4U maths (esp 4U) maintain the most stability in alignment (esp E4 marks) across the years than subjects like Chem & Phys (more so with Physics which is far more unpredictable - eg in 2009 a raw mark of 85 aligned to 92.2 while in 2010 a raw 83 aligned higher to 93.2). I think the reason is that the 4U cohort remains basically the same (ie in terms of ability).
