Let's hear what you have to say. Was the question difficult?

To eliminate confusion the format of posting would be simply stating your set text you have studied, before you go screaming your heads off about how crap the section was.

Example

Set Text: The Truman Show

Q3 elective 3: IMAGE
Set Text: Strictly Ballroom

This section wasn't too bad, i feel a fair few people would've got confused when it asked : "How are images used to involve you....."
and wrote in first person.

The question was pretty kind, and fairly broad, allowing candidates to discuss pretty much whatever they wanted.

Yeah i agree

I did Truman Show - Film - Image

i must say this question kinda stumped a few people it was broad enough but the wording was gay but really matched the entire modules name.

I wrote about how the power of the media which is revealed in my texts provided me with experience of how the media does these to actually communicate their intended message.

I found the images question pretty easy... Since it's only asking us to explain how different experiences are conveyed through images...

BTW, my set text was "Inside black Australia", which was a couple of poems composed by Aboriginal poets, and it was quite easy since I only needed to identify the poetic techniques and how it created the images... and finally describing how the images tell us of their experiences

lol.... my friend was doing the standard paper 2... and believe me, he never studies... not even for 1 second..

And for the 1st module, we're doing inside black australia for images, and he picked the Truman show instead cause he said that was the only thing he knows a bit about...

He wrote about 1/2 pages and will be lucky to get 1/20 ;)

For his trials he got 9%... which I thought was lucky for him hehe

Just funny that some people come to exams not even knowing their prescribed texts

Teling STories - Henry Lawson..
the question wasnt bad...the whole paper wasnt bad...very straight forward and all of them were essays. i am amazed at the fact that they didnt test our text formats this year!

I did the Truman Show.
I found the question really easy.
I talked about the basic imagery found in the film and connotated and denotated imagery and how the media is commericialised and manlipulates us. Also Seahaven is like Truman's idyllic womb and he is born when he leaves. Because of the images, we the audience feel sypmathy towards Truman, but not to any of the other characters.
